I WENT TO ON E OF THERE INTERVIEWS AND IT WAS GREAT AND REASONABLE I HOPE SOON I WILL BE IN THE AGENCY I WILL KNOW TOMORROW
real agencies don't charge high fees, most none at all. they don't charge for headshots
I went to Barbizon and I know it's a scam. They teach you stuff about modeling and interviews and make-up, but that's about it. They don't do anything to contact you with agencies or anything that will actually help you into modeling. I did runway shows with Barbizon, but it's only for like the families of the ppl in the show....it's pretty stupid and a waste of $1500. The main thing with Barbizon is that they teach you how to present and carry yourself in a positive way which is good, but not worth $1500. If you want to be a model you need to look into reputable actual agencies that don't make you pay any amount of money to be apart of it. I was 14 when I did Barbizon so I learned all of this the hard way.
i went to Barbizon about 3 years ago. it is a scam, basically they pick almost anyone tht attends the school and also Barbizon is not an agency is a training school. YOu have to pay at least almost 2 to 3 thousand dollars to attend it. but if u go and find a talent agency its free and u don't have to pay any money. Also barbizon does not promise and bookings. If u would like to model i suggest to go to a casting call like for example model expo. www.nycmodel.com its a casting call and they go all over the united states looking for girls and guys and u have to pay absoultly nothing , but if u want to go to there photo shoot its about 100 dollars . and they're pictures look amazing . i went to one and passed the audition and met with plenty of agencies. I don't think u should attend Barbizon unless ur trying to boost ur self esteem and confidence. cause Barbizon doesn't do anything for u.
