Im meeting my girlfriend at Waterloo because thats where the train stops at from where she is, but were I'm from it stops at Waterloo EAST, what's the difference?
Technically Waterloo East is a different station from Waterloo because the line that serves Waterloo East does not terminate at Waterloo. In practical terms, there is little difference; together they form tjhe complex known as Waterloo station.
(The situation is similar to Victoria, which is actually two different stations, built side-by-side and joined by an archway in a wall!)
About 5 minutes on foot.
waterloo east is on anther train line that goes past waterloo towards charing cross
waterloo wast station is only small and its right next to the main waterloo station.
its so close infact there is a little bridge that connects the 2
