Yes, Zurich has a train station. There is a train stopping. Switzerland is a developed country. Whoohaa. Otherwise you can take the bus. It stops in Churwalden, but otherwise just go to Chur and take a taxi to Churwalden from there, Easy.
Going to Churwalden makes most sense using public transport. Throughout this answer, I am going to assume that you are travelling from Zürich HB (main station).
First and Foremost, you will need to travel to Chur. Trains to Chur leave from Zürich every hour at the 12th and 37th minute (e.g. 07:12, 15:37).
Trains leaving at the 12th minute of the hour are InterRegio trains meaning that they make stops more often than the InterCity trains leaving at the 37th minute. The InterCity train is, however, only 15 minutes faster than the InterRegio.
When you arrive at Chur, you will need to follow signs for Buses. Most of the buses in the region are run by the National Postal Service and are well known for being punctual and efficient. It is easy to identify these buses by their bright yellow colour. Always check the front window to check the destination of the bus (the bus you want to take should have as a final destination "Vazerol".
If you are unsure, ask the driver: most can speak some English. The buses for Churwalden leave every hour on the hour so be quick!
Hope this has helped,
