I live in a very warm environment. The coldest part of the year here is probably 10 degrees celsius. I will be visiting London for a week, in 2 days.
I don't really want to bring a coat so I was just wanted to check if it is necessary?
When I'm outdoors I can wear a sweater and a hoody over my shirt.
I was told that it is very cold at night time. So should I bring a coat and only wear it for night time?
I'd really rather not though, coats are annoying and space consuming and heavy.
So please tell me whether it is necessary.
better bring it... along with rain gear!!!
i heard london to have the MOST SHHITTEST weather ever!!
no offence!
but im happy where i am now (:
we get weird weather over here in the UK. Usually a nice warm jacket will do you okay, as long as you're not planning to do anything like having a picnic :-P
I live a little way out of London, but we get more or less the same weather here and it has been relatively nice. But, you should be prepared for a little bit of the cold! I'd personally bring a fleece or something lightweight but warm like that.
Hope this helps!
Surely any part of a visit to London would include shopping. If anything, pack light and then shop for something you'd like as a souvenir of your trip - perhaps a coat or jacket that's appropriate for the weather there. Like every big city, there's bound to be off-price stores if the prices in other stores are higher than you want to pay.
Enjoy your trip; have fun - and I hope the weather is great while you're there.
5 day weather forecast for London; http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/5day.shtml?...
You should be OK during the day without a coat, but it could reach below 10C at night.
Depends where you come from. If you come from a hot country, you may need a coat, otherwise, a sweater and a hoody is ok. Central London is usually warmer than the rest of the UK.
London weather is very unpredictable...right now the sun is shining, its very pleasant and its pretty warm. Tomorrow it might be windy and raining heavily, its like that here.
But its not often very cold just yet; genuine winter weather doesn't really start here till December...but as a Londoner my idea of "very cold" is probably a lot colder than yours!
This time of year, even if its warm during the day it can be quite chilly in the evening, so a sweater and a light coat should be sufficient to keep you comfortable.
Oh my god yes...and its just gonna get colder.
Bring a heavy hoodie....? or buy a coat in london lol
im rich so idk.. but uh.. hmmmm
