My family doctor tells me the only way to correct this, is surgery and the recuperation period will be up to 6 months. The surgeon has given me a cortisone injection and sent me to physiotherapy for 4 weeks and will then decide if surgery is needed. Has this happened to you and if so, please describe the treatment you received. Many thanks - RR
yes, it hapend to me too, both shoulders. I could not lift my arms any more, could not dress myself etc.etc. Had cortisone as well that eased the pain, but then I started to put on wait. I stopt taking the cortisone and stopt the physiotherapy, accupuncture, accupressure etc. did not help. I was in so much pain, untill some one at the gym told me about Bowen therapy. By that time I had this problem for 3 years. After the first and second sesion, I could feel approvement. After the third I thought " it not doing anything", after that I had a lot of improvement. Had 7 sesions in a row (1 a week) and then 3 more ( once a month) and that was it. Did not need an operation and I swear by Bowen Therapy. It is great for lots of things.
