Not much known about it as of yet, mainly because I can't read Korean. It's currently in final beta in Korea and due for release in the US and Europe in Q3. So far the game seems pretty impressive from what I have learned.

I hope I get a serial for open beta.
In a announce they say the open beta for US/Euro players is close and will be starting giving serials soon.
On other announce they say the game will be release on 3 july 2006.

well the problem with Codemasters' MMOs is that they are rather publishing their MMOs, not actively directing and coding them, and the two they have are average at best (while with NCsoft it's just the reverse thing - they can't code their own games for shit but their published stuff from external studios is pretty good)

Beta access during stress test with pre-orders is a common thing these days. It's not unusual for companies to reward there customers for pre-orders.
What about the block pRFO thing? That has nothing to do with CM, LUG did that due to their contract with the developer.

If you wanted in beta you should have been more active on the forums and showed interest instead of sitting around with your finger up your ass. Yeah, right now, as in, after the games failed everywhere so this is basically a last ditch effort to scam up some fresh customers...
Codemasters slapped abunch of their customer base in the face during the whole beta fiasco. Moving past the whole 'ban the world from pH beta', the 'real english beta' was hyped with newsletters, websites, forums... but oh no. It wasn't going to be a real beta. After all, the game has failed in Korea, China, and Japan. CM didn't want more people to play it for free for a month and realize how shallow it was... so they made it basically invite only for the poor sucker fanboys. Pissed off normal customers, haha oh well... then they bitch slap the fan boys by selling beta slots to everyone who bought a preorder.
But ignoring that, 5 days is not a decent trial time for a MMORPG... nor is making you buy the game after you've 'tried' the game for 5 days... ie already downloaded it to your computer...
rfO is a mistake that company will never live down.

I've gotten into 2 CM betas for free and they did have a free trial for RFO. I think you should check again.

I have high hopes for this game, we'll wait and see how it develops.
Codies havn't been doing too great in their MMORPG lineup thus far, it'd be nice to see ArchLord be awesome and turn it around but meh, I followed it for a while and some of the stuff I saw didn't please me too much, and the graphics are kinda lacking for a late 2006 release, especially considering we'll be having things like Lineage 3 emerging in 2007 =/
Personally, I'm holding on for Huxley (if i can upgrade properly before release), hopefully it'll succeed where PlanetSide failed, I'll play that until I can get into some sort of beta (Korean or otherwise) for L3.
being archlord is like being god for a month on your server :O

Look intresting, but by the info provided on US/Euro site you can't figure out if it will be a copy of Guild Wars or WOW.
