All was perfect untill today...
Today I got the following: "Disk in drive E is not formatted".
Tried some demo tools they found some things from the content. However none of them was able to restore partitions.
Since I have a backup of the data just 3 days old, I have formatted the drive as fat16. Untill I remove the drive from the computer I'm able to load, erase and save data. Once the drive is removed with "safe remove".... Result: "please insert a ... into the drive E" after some time "Disk in the Drive E is not formatted"
I have tried both quick and complete formatting... all without success. I have an impression that it simply does not keep the partition table in memory???? is it possible???
It has been less then a year since I have this drive and I was always happy with it.
If you have any ideas this would help.
Final note: I use this drive for my thesis work to carry data and I would really appreciate if there was a way to solve the issue rapidly: without this drive I'm lke without hands, I can't work.
