Paint ball and Archery at Great Chart, Ashford
Jump on a ferry and go to France for the day.
Bluewater and Lakeside shopping centres.

Can I recommend Norwich? If you are in London, you can go from Liverpool St Station by train but it's much cheaper to prebook or get a coach. It takes 2 hours direct by train and is a beautiful vibrant city with great cafe culture, art and musems, lots of old buildings and in the top 5 for national shopping.
