To all those people in high school now, what do you think of all those Freshmen who have boyfriends/girlfriends and display that fact openly in front of everyone?
* I'm not saying that Freshmen aren't allowed to date, but what do you think of those who show that fact by holding hands/kissing/showing affection in front of everyone, regardless whether they want to see it or not?
So what's so bad about it,by the time you get to college it wouldn't matter if it was a 17 year old and a 13 /12 year old then that's a problem

Why does everyone think PDA is so bad?

I don't pay attention to them? And whats the difference when a Freshie does it or a Sr? I dont see a difference.. They are all Pda... What's wrong with holding hands?
Well, personally, I think that obvious public displays of affection are inappropriate, no matter WHAT age you are -- 14 or 44! Hand-holding is pretty tame, but yeah, the kissy-kissy huggy-huggy stuff is pretty lame. They do it because they think it makes them look oh-so-cool to have someone draped all over them -- they don't have the maturity to realize it just makes them look . . . well, YOUNG and immature!
I think it's retarded I just graduated this year. My ex who I dated on and off for 5 years is going out with a 15 year old... I think she's absolutely retarded. Oh well, he misses me, we've been talking all night every night for the last week. There is plenty of time to date, I wish I would have waited.
Idk I don't pay much attention to them....but it is kind of annoying when they do it just to make them look "cool"... But whatever, they can do whatever they want, they're not worth my time....We used to be freshies 2 you know! :)

everyone does it. some think its wrong some don't. i personally like it to a certain point. i follow the rule "only do what you'd want your mom to see" its the worse when someone breaks up with you and it feels like everyone is making out all over the place.

well i think that some things are okay sometimes.... but like making out and stuff is sorta weird. i am a freshman and yes i give my boyfriend a hug and peck on the lips at the end of the day. i don't walk to every class holding hands and kissing constantly in front of teachers because i feel like that should be done outside of school..... and we are young and should not be all over each other i agree.
Theres a limit to showing that your dating or whateverthehell. honestly. i understand what your saying. i'm a freshie but i'm hangig out with the sophs and i see this giong on, and i kinda think that even being a sophie is too young. but my dearest and nearest friends (different grades) all side with me. there is a line.
